I started in a swimming team but I wasn’t talent and after 2 years I changed to the pentathlon….

Actually many young athletes come from swimming team.

5 place in junior word championship 1996

3nd place European Championship /Sofia, Budakalász/ 2001,2006

No, I never.

There are 4 sports club in Hungary where doing the pentathlon.

Who do you train with?

Who do the other athletes of your national team train with?

I train with Péter Tibolya and Róbert Németh  but the athletes of the Hungarian national team ride and fence together except the team of Székesfehérvár.

All athletes of the national team train in their club. But the riding and fence we do together.

We often fence against fencer.

How many hours do you train a day?
And how many days  a week?

There are 3 or 4 trains a day. ( 6/7 hours )
 6 day a week. On Saturday just a running.

For my profession I’m a printing engineer, manager and photographer.

Very different.

Everybody learns something.

Are you payed for playing pentathlon?
If yes, who pays you?Do you earn enough to live on? 

Are the other athletes of your national team  payed? If yes, who pays them? Do they earn enough to live on? 

I earn about 400 euro a month like  a sportsman. My sports club /UTE/ give us 300 euro a month plus a season ticket.  I get 150 euro from  the Hungarian  State a month. /sport stipend/ I have to pay 50 euro to the National Insurance. It is just cover my outgoings…
 

There are some Hungarian sportsman who earn better. You have to win World Championship /individual/ to get sponsors. Maybe they will write about this…

What’s the biggest difficulty in playing pentathlon in your country?

What do you think about combined event?

The money. The Hungarian State don’t support the sport sufficiently.
More juniors give up the pentathlon  because of the high cost for play this sport and choose the studying. 

I think it will be more exciting for the public but I’m not sure this is the best changes. We should reach  more people come to see the competitions.
