Amelie Caze (Fra), on the podium in 3 world cup events 2009, is gold medal at the European Championships. 1st in the fencing and 2nd in the swimming she was able to lead the competition until the end.  Silver medal for the Olympic Silver medallist, Fell (Gbr). In the 3rd position there is Gretchichnikova (Rus). Out of the podium, for the first time in the season but winner again of the combined event, the Lituanian Asadauskaite.

Great Britain won the Team Competition, followed by Russia and Hungary.
In the relay was the Czech team to win. Silver and bronze medal for Russia and Poland.

In the men competition was the very young Polivka (Cze) to take the1st position. He led each event at very high level.
Silver medal, at only 24 points, for Frolov (Rus), with a very similar competition. 3rd position for Marosi, every time in this season on the podium. Benedetti (Ita) is the winner of the combined event, taking 14 positions.

Lituania won Team and Relay competition.
Czech Republic was 2nd in the Team and 3rd in the Relay.

Belarus took bronze in the team and the silver medal in the relay was for Hungary.
