European championships: 16 new olympic cards

At the European Championships 2007, 8 men and 8 women took olympic card.

Victor Horvath (Hun) won the men competition. Silver for Sabirkhouzine (Rus) and bronze for Horbacz (Pol). Also Moiseev (Rus), Zemaitis (Ltu), Tibolya (Hun), Balogh (Hun) and Frolov (Rus) took the card. Three ungarian and three russian athletes were into the qualified.

Seen the maximum olympic limit of two athletes for nation, Kirpulyanskyy Dmytro (Ukr) and Svoboda David (Cze) conquer the olympic card respective also 9° and 10° classified.

Russia won the team competition, Hungary and Bielorussia took silver and bronze medals.

The podium of the competition took the women cards with Gretchichnikova (Rus), Fell (Gbr), Bertoli (Ita) and also  Schoneborn (Ger), Voros (Hun), Livingston (Gbr), Corsini (Ita) and Czwojdzinska (Pol). The Italian team won the gold medal. Great Britain and Russia took silver and bronze.
